Popular Yoruba Actor Loses Re-Election Bid In Osun

Latest report has it that popular Nollywood actor, Hon. Rotimi Makinde, representing Ife Federal Constituency at the House Of Representatives under the APC, has lost in his re-election bid.
Acording to Blackbox Nigeria report, the former Yoruba actor turned politician, who was the Vice-Chairman of the House Committee on Human Rights, is said to have lost is his position to the candidate of the PDP at yesterday’s elections.
It was reported that Mr Makinde lost to former Lawmaker and candidate of the PDP, Hon. Albert Adeogun at Ife Federal Constituency which co-incidentally is the constituency of PDP Presidential Campaign spokesman, Chief Femi Fani-Kanyode.
Confirming Makinde’s defeat at the polls, Fani-Kayode went on his Twitter handle to tweet below:
Rotimi Makinde and Femi Gbajamialla, 2 of APC's leading House of Reps members, have lost in Ile Ife, Osun state and Surulere, Lagos state.
