The Kano Resident Electoral Commissioner, Alhaji Abdullahi Minkaila was on Thursday burnt to death with his family.
The deceased was burnt along with his wife and two children, in an inferno when his residence was engulfed by fire.
The late Minkaila and his family were rushed to the Murtala Mohammed specialist hospital where they gave up the ghost Friday morning.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained at press time.
Spokesman of the Independent Electoral Commission, Mallam Garba confirmed the incident.
