Didier Drogba didn't take kindly to being told he was faking an injury to miss the United Nations-backed Match Against Poverty on Monday night—and he let an Arsenal fan know about it.
The Ivorian could be a key part of Chelsea's title run-in, with injuries affecting Diego Costa and Loic Remy, but an injury of his own prevented him from participating in the charity game with the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo and Clarence Seedorf.
One fan doubted his explanation, suggesting he'd been told to save himself for club duty—but Drogba suggested he ought to read:
Disappointed not to be able to play the #MAP2015 because of an ankle injury but still supporting #EbolaResponse:http://t.co/EjFWTDLiVr

@SemperIiber I'm already injured if you can read well my friend

With Drogba a United Nations Development Programme Ambassador, this would have been a game close to his heart, and he'd have been unlikely to simply feign injury to miss it.
Chelsea are back in action against Arsenal on Sunday.
