Did Jesus Christ have a son? Tomb of Messiah is said to be found in Jerusalem buried with wife and child.
Could it be the tomb where Jesus lay?
A geologist has claimed to have found the son of God's resting place in Jerusalem - and says he was buried with his wife and son.
Isreali archeologist Aryeh Shimron, who has been working on the case for over 35 years, has carried out 150 chemical tests that he says back up his argument. It all started with the Jerusalem construction boom in the early 1980s when over 800 tombs were found.
One of the tombs contains ossuaries - boxes holding bones of the deceased - which included names of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, as well as "Judah, son of Jesus", inscribed on them.
Known as the Talpiot Tomb, it was dismissedas coincidence rather than Jesus of Nazareth's tomb but Dr. Shimron believed there was truth in the discovery.
The authenticity of the of the James Ossuary, bought by a private collector in the 1970s, has been disputed in court but tests by Dr. Shimron show traces of magnesium, iron and silicon on its outside.
The same chemicals as those found in what was proposed as Jesus' family tomb.
Dr. Shimron said he believed his research could be the Missing Link.
